Hi, I’m Maura, a writer, editor, and brand consultant with more than a decade of experience in fashion, media, and digital publishing.
I've held roles at print magazines, in digital media, with brands, and for a few brief months, at a company whose collapse was featured in a miniseries on Apple TV. My writing can be found in publications like The Wall Street Journal, The Cut, Vogue, Vogue Business, and Business of Fashion, among other titles.
From 2019 to 2024, I served as the editor-at-large of leading fashion news platform Fashionista, where I covered fashion, retail, and design with an emphasis on the environment, ethical and sustainable supply chains, and consumer culture.
Alongside my journalism career, I work as the VP of content at boutique communications agency JBC, where I provide a menu of editorial services to startups and uniquely competitive brands, from brand strategy to creative storytelling. I also take on select consulting projects.
